Development Schedule

When Drupal Commerce began, we were targeting monthly development sprints based on the Scrum development process. However, due to unfortunate loss of time, this became unfeasible to meet our aggressive timeline. At the moment, we're simply working as quickly as possible with the following rough timeline:

  • January / February - Develop products and the add to cart form, the shopping cart and checkout, and begin on addresses and prices if possible.
  • February 22 - 26 - Paris code sprint involving European developers, UI / i18n specialists, and hopefully the Rules 2 maintainer.
  • March - Develop order administration and inference engine integration (at this point, that appears to be Rules 2), along with taxes and payment.
  • End of March - U.S. code sprint involving developers, enterprise specialists, and product usage specialists.
  • April - Tie up loose ends in preparation for a soft launch at DrupalCon San Francisco.
