Its actually kind if unbelievable that this project does not have a huge post on the front page about this, as well as explaining why the fork happened, how to migrate, will this project be around for a long time etc - instead this project has decided that Ubercart "no longer exists" and that no-one would possible have any questions of this nature at all.
Its acting like a corporation with its head in the sand, which leaves a very low level of trust for me and extremely weary after years of great service from Ubercart.
It's a shame you weren't around for the blog posts and discussions addressing just this issue, but the project has moved on from bemoaning the split. You can view a summary in the History section of the About handbook or view.
As for how to migrate - that's simple. You can't right now. Seeing as how DC is still in alpha, we aren't maintaining a solid schema with updates between new releases. Trying to maintain a migration script alongside of that would be fairly pointless and at least a waste of time. I have no intention of leaving anyone "high and dry", so to speak - a migration path has always been on my list of priorities for DC, it just can't come before there's something solid to migrate to.
As to your personal feelings on the matter, I also had years of great service from Ubercart, having developed the project from the beginning through to stepping down in January this year. I presume you trusted my efforts then... However, it's been almost a year now, and there's no point for me to keep broadcasting a situation that was both unfortunate and personally distressing on the front page of a project that has since moved on. My head isn't in the sand, but my eyes are forward.

I am also doing this - would be great to know we won't be left in the dark. :)
No trust or faith in this project - none.

Only just stumbled into here after a forum post on drupal.org asking if there was anything other than ubercart!
