VAT in France is not spread into line items

Hi,

I have recently seen the screencast for VAT and noticed that it was spread by line item.
In France such invoice is illegal, is there a way to avoid this and just have a line after the sub total reflecting the total VAT.

I'm not sure what you mean by "such invoice is illegal". First, Drupal Commerce does not generate any invoice out of the box. Invoicing is the job of an accounting system, not the job of a cart.

Then, it seems to me that having the VAT specified in every line item is actually recommended [1]. It is probably also necessary to have a VAT digest at the bottom of the order, and it is possible in Drupal Commerce by using the "Price with components" display (it is the default of the order total).

Could you give us more details about your concerns?
